MEN’S OFFICER – Job Description
THE MEN’S OFFICER SHALL :
Ensure that men’s views and opinions are reflected throughout the whole of the Students’ Union’s work.
Provide a man’s perspective on all matters concerning the Union and the College, and ensure there is a regular forum/group where men can meet.
Organise social and educational closed men’s meetings.
Organise training events for men.
Establish and maintain contact with, and provide information from, groups and organisations which work on men’s issues.
Promote the positive involvement of men in all areas of the Students’ Union’s activities.
Represent the views of male students to the Student’s Union and the College.
Convene and chair a Men’s Committee.
Be an unpaid, part-time officer of the Union, and act as a trustee of the S.U and so sit on the Executive Committee.
