One of the traditional roles of a Students' Union is the provision of food, drink, and entertainment. The Union currently has two bars which double up as Unity, our nightclub, for evening Events.
The Union itself can hold six hundred people and we pride ourselves on being one of the safest entertainment venues in Carmarthenshire. Every week there are a number of events for all sections of student life, ranging from standard pop nights to more diverse tastes including drum and bass, indie, etc.
For most students, finance is tight, and we are constantly checking our prices against the high street outlets in the town, and we continue to provide better value against the high street. Thanks to the buying power of the NUS, we are able to offer premium products and services at prices that should be within the tightest student budget.
The Union Shop, in the Union building, should be your first port of call for any university clothing and merchandise you want as well as everyday groceries. You can also be reassured that every pound you spend in the Union goes back into the Union, and not to shareholders
Soft Drink Machines
Outside the SU front entrance, these are ideal if you fancy a drink when the Bar is shut.
Cash Machine
There is a Link Cash Machine (£1 charge per transaction) inside the SU building on the Ground Floor (between Reception and the Toilets).
