SU Advice on Withdrawal, Suspension or Transfer

Students who intercalate or temporarily suspend their studies for reasons such as sickness or personal difficulties, or who are registered for examinations only may find themselves in financial difficulties during the year out.

The LEA does have discretion to allow the student to take out a Student Loan, but a case needs to be made.

Students are advised to seek advice from the SU and Student Finance Office on their situation at the earliest opportunity, to ensure that they receive the maximum support possible.
