College Guidelines for Students

The College provides a number of important sources of information relating to the College and to the way in which Programmes of Study (that's the name we give to your degree course) operate. It is often worth consulting the documentation provided by the individual Schools and the College to find an appropriate solution to a concern or grievance:

Programme of Study Handbooks

Each student will receive one of these at the start of the academic year (and they can differ between Schools.)

College Regulations - Student Guide

This handbook provides you with information about the various procedures and regulations within the College.

The Academic and Quality Handbook

The Academic Quality Handbook is designed as a guide to, and a source of reference for, the principles, procedures and administrative practices upon which the College's quality assurance mechanisms are based.

The Handbook covers a broad range of areas, including responsibilities for quality processes, the college committee structure, programme structure, assessment, validation, monitoring and review, the Faculty structure and various policies and procedures.

Where can I find these documents?

Each of these documents is available in the Faculty Offices and in the Quality Assurance Unit that is situated on the top floor of Dewi.

These documents are also available in electronic form, both in Welsh and in English, on Trinity's Intranet: www.drindod.ac.uk for the Welsh versions and www.trinity-cm.ac.uk for the English versions of these documents.
